In order to create an intensive and efficient modern ethanol industry system, the company started construction of a 3,000-square-meter liquefied carbon dioxide project this year. While reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the liquid carbon dioxide produced will be used in the development of shale oil.
At present, Heilongjiang Hongzhan Group has an annual processing capacity of 7 million tons of corn, 2 million tons of lees protein feed and 2.3 million tons of alcohol, ranking first in the scale of alcohol production enterprises in China.
